FLIFF is now accepting, submissions for its upcoming film festival
 
The 21st Annual Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival will be held October 20 - November 12, 2006 at venues throughout South Florida. Activities at the festival include:
  • The screening of more than 150 American and foreign independent features, shorts and documentaries of all genres.
  • Stimulating seminars and intensive film discussion groups.
  • Parties and informal get-togethers with filmmakers and industry professionals from around the globe.

    All selected films are eligible to be included in the competition for "Audience Favorite" in the following categories: Feature, Short and Documentary. Competition is available in the categories of Best Director, Best Performance by an Actor/Actress, Best Screenplay, Best Feature, Best Documentary, Best Short and Independent Spirit Awards.

    Film Categories include:
    American Independents (Features)
    World Showcase (Features)
    Documentary
    Shorts
    Student Shorts
    High School Film Competition

    CALL FOR ENTRY

  • Early deadline is July 1, 2006.
  • Discounted entry fees are provided for films submitted by August 1, 2006.
  • All filmmakers in attendance receive Industry Passes good for all regular screenings, special events* and parties.
    *some events may be based on availability
